Katie Casamassina is a dedicated and passionate advocate with over 12 years of volunteer experience with the American Cancer Society, where she has dedicated her time and talents to honoring her loved one’s affected by cancer. When not volunteering with the ACS, Katie serves as Associate Director of Community Fundraising at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

Iliana Ioannides has been involved with the American Cancer Society for nearly a decade and a half. Over this period, she’s worn many hats including Executive Director of Relay for Life of JMU in 2019 raising over $328,000. In addition to Relay After Dark, Iliana serves as the Southeast Region Community Fundraising Volunteer Leadership Team Co-Lead. Fighting cancer takes work and the work is not done! Outside of her volunteer roles, Iliana is a special educator in NYC Public School.
